    • CVO1: 2000 SERG, Black & Orange. 106 stroker, 585 S&S gear driven cams, SE billet cam plate w/ SE oil pump, 52mm S&S throttle body with closed loop VFI system, Vance & Hines 2 into 1. Headwork by Leo Hess at Full Blast Engineering.

Was someone digging on my 2000 SERG? I still think it is a great bike, and HD has not (IMHO) made a more bitchin' looking bike yet! I have no intention of replacing it any time soon. (Or the means for that matter...) What I would like to see is the Co. to stop making cool new stuff that is not available for my "old" bike. Say for instance an LED headlight. They will make one for the RG I have no doubt, maybe new for 2013, but it will not fit the older models. It pisses me off that the Co has cut off support for the older rigs in hope that I will buy a new bike! However I guess I can cast a vote for the long desired Road Rod....

I did this with my MINI.  It took 6 months to get here from the UK, but I got exactly what I wanted and didn't put money int it after the sale to make it mine.  Given the huge accessories catalog, I think that should be easier than we think.

I would tend to agree with you.
Isn't part of the CVO Concept, Bundled Bling as well as performance?

Why not let the customer cutomize their CVO from the moCo?

How about a FXR5 with a 103 twin cam, six speed, Inverted forks and Brembo brakes!!!!!!!!!!

I think a 113 inch motor will appear before a 120?

1st, nobody was "digging" on your 2000 SERG unless you mean that we "dig it " as in like. Most of us would love to have the very first officially designated CVO model in our garages. I can't speak for others but my point was just that while we like to kick the MoCo around for not doing much model year to model year if one compares your 2000 to a 2012, it belies that.

Hope you keep the 2000 for many years to come and continue to enjoy it.

    • CVO1: 2010 Candy Concord CVO Street Glide "Blue Thunder"

Thoughts are along the lines that the 103 will be a standard and the 96 will no longer be
The Limited editions will have a newer improved 110 engine
The CVO's will have the 120r's
The CVO's will also have the premium suspension in the forks along with a newly developed rear 13" shocks to run along side there 12" brother with are on the CVOSG
There may be a new line out there something that is more 21st century with the water cooled heads offered in a FLH and a softail completely new look

I heard a rumor the other day that for the 110th anniversary all bikes will have 110 motors and CVO's will be 120's.

Don't know that there is any "substance" to that rumor but it sure sounds good.

110" motors in all bikes would be odd as it would have made the 103" in some models a one or two year fitment.  While the concept sounds great, it would force Harley to move too far forward too fast in the displacement war.  My 110 runs so much hotter than the 96 I used to have.  I just don't think it makes sense for most applications unless made to run cooler.

Is it to early to start discussing what the 2013 Screaming Eagles will be.

Not sure if this is true but my dealer said the 2013's will not be shown at Sturgis and will be announced at least a month later that  normal.
Sure would like to know if there is a trike this year

They already have water cooled heads.  Of course, they only work when it's raining but it's Harley for Pete's sake, what do you expect.
