The longest trip i completed was 2000 miles, from Romulus, MI to Sierra Vista, AZ, in March of 2000 on my 1200 Custom.  It took me 2 and 1/2 days because I ran into bad weather in Texas and New Mexico.

The longest single day trip was 930 miles, from Hereford, AZ to Dallas, TX in June of 2007 on my Streetglide.  It took me about 14 hours on the road.

Living in AZ gives anybody the option to go on long rides, we have a lot of open roads and great weather year round.  I owned my 06 Streetglide for 3 and 1/2 year and put 68,000 mile on it.

Gotta love the 1200 Customs!  I rode mine from No. VA to Key West, via the RT. 17 route down the coast.  The trip was a little over 3000K miles by the time we got back home.

Seems my miles decreases by a factor of 10 for each year gained. Now at about 500.

I don't take many overnight trips so mine are all just casual rides.  In all cases, I stop for fuel, bathroom breaks (if needed) and hydration.  I'm off for no more than 20 minutes at a time but it's generally just fueling up and heading out again.  I'm out on the bike and my goal is to ride as many miles as I can get in before it gets dark.  Typically day out is 6 - 8 hours.  Occasionally I'll do 12 hours and will stop for a quick meal.

On the stock '03 1200 Sportster (which I no longer have as of last summer), I would typically ride 300-400 miles at a pop with previously stated stops.  I would stop for fuel every 100 miles because I ride in a fairly rural area.

On the '09 Fat Bob SE, I normally ride 600 miles and stop for fuel every 200.

On the '12 Road Glide (which replaced the Sportster), I have ridden 800 miles in a day with fuel stops every 150 miles.  I don't ride this too much as it's my husband's bike but it does need to be ridden more!!  :)

My longest in one day is just over 1000 miles which is pretty much sun up to sun down. I stop every tank fill up.

I have a 200+mile gas tank, but only a 150 mile bladder........ :drink:

Me too...if I stay properly hydrated.  That's a good 1.5 hours, at least.  I generally need to both pee and stretch my legs a bit by that point.  But I'm 60 years old, so that makes a difference on both counts.  If I'm traveling on backroads, which is by far my preference, much over 400 miles is really packing the miles in for one day.  If I'm only interested in getting from point A to point B on the interstate, a 500-600 mile day is about all I want.  Interstate traveling tires me out more due to the monotony.  An ideal day, traveling through pretty places, is 250-350 miles.  That's a nice leisurely pace, allowing for stops to take in the sights, shoot the chit with other riders I might run into, have a smoke here and there, and not feel rushed to get somewhere.  500+ mile days just take some of the joy out of it for me, so the only time I may do that is when I want to GET somewhere I want to be, then slow down the remaining days, or when I head home after a nice trip somewhere.  Once I point it towards the barn, I generally just want to get back home and see my pets.

Did Sturgis/Yellowstone and back, 5,500 miles in 9 days with a group.  Can do twice as many miles riding in a group than riding solo.

I was good for 500-600 miles on my '95 FLSTF, even with a buzzy motor. Not sure how long I'll last on the Road Glide, but I'm sure I can beat that.

I take a break every 100-125 miles even if it's only 5-10 minutes.  Why rush if you don't have to?  SJ Ron
