Lights on a SEVrod
« on: July 25, 2006, 11:06:36 AM »

I purchased a set of lights from hd-dude for my SEEG and My wifes SEVrod.  The lights are awsome and hd-dude is wonderful to work with (and a wealth of knowledge I might add).  I just finished putting the lights on the SEVrod.  Unfortunatly I do not have a high quality digital cam so the pics do not do the lights justice at all.  In person these lights look fantastic.  For all you other SEVoders out there GET THEESE LIGHTS you wont be disapointed  [smiley=xyxthumbs.gif]

I'll have to go back out to give you exact locations and type of LED's but I used 10 LED pod around the engine (I think) and 2 in the radiator.  If you are interested in more information I will be happy to go out and give exact locations and type of led's.  I bought them from HD-dude (awsome to deal with!!) he had never done a vrod so he sent 4 of each type (16 total light pods).  I just pluged them in and held them in various spots until I acchieved the desired lighting effect.  I am going to put the lights on my bike this week.  I will be using HD-dudes placements for my bike (his look fantastic why mess with a good thing).  As I place mine I will be looking at Teresa's to see if there is any part that needs extra attention.  I still have a few extra lights that I may use if I see an opportunity for improvement (They look awsome now the pics do not do them justice-but I am always looking for better than awsome-OCD) The v-rod is very tight and you have to get pretty creative on placement.  I will be happy to share any information.  Have a great one and ride safe.

I agree I am extreemly pleased.  I just finished the lightning project on my SEEG yesterday (I will be posting pic later).  The light look fantastic and are first rate quality.  I took another set off my bike to put these lights on (these lights are much brighter than the ones I had and the other lights only worked half the time).  Yall have a great one and ride safe
