Rear suspension help......
« on: April 16, 2012, 05:35:59 PM »

Ok, first dumb question, and I feel silly for asking but here goes......

My '12 CVO RGC has the premium ride adjustable shocks in the rear. The adjustment knob is hidden behind the left saddlebag, the manual says to turn it counter clockwise all the way for minimum preload and the turn "X" number of clicks in a clockwise manner for "X" amount of weight. The issue I am having is I'm not hearing or feeling any clicks.

What am I missing here?

I have the same and found that the "clicks" were had to hear at first, then as tension built up they were easier to hear. Also found that 1 click was actually 1/2 turn, so keep track of the turns to! Hope this helps......
