Just spoke to Brady at Crystal River HD.  He said the Ultras have been put on hold.  He wouldn't confirm the October date, just that the bikes that were schueled to be shipped are being held.  He didn't know why.

I am sorry ...Crystal river is associated with Ocala......I was used to purchase a lot of things from them...I know Raul Martinez in sales ,Tom and Chris in parts and Kim Brayman in motorclothes.......

So Tommy, guess it's a good thing you'd not sold the Pumpkin?  Really sorry for the delay.  Guess the silver lining to this particular cloud is that perhaps some lessons were learned from the 06 paint debacle.  At least this year they are trying to solve problems before they get to the customer rather than leaving the customer to stew in his own juices and lack of support and information after having laid down his money.

The more of these things they do the more problems they seem to have.  Am I the only one that thinks they're stretching themselves beyond their limits a bit for CVO production?  Or maybe that P&A is just the wrong division to sell motorcycles?  Might be a more than subtle difference in mindset between a division ramped up for heavy duty manufacturing on the one hand and a division that sells everything (else) with a 90 day warranty on the other?

North Texas Harley Davidson in Carrollton Texas received thirty-two 07 Harleys.  One is an SE Ultra, not sure what color.  Damn, that is a lot of new bikes.  Non SE bikes are sold at MSRP, don't now about the SE.  People are showing up as they are being unloaded , they are selling like hotcakes.  No I don't work there.  My friend was there, he said they had 18 more crates to open after which one of them was going to have a new owner.
