I'll keep my eyes open, but I've never seen one of those. You can go for the entire chrome starter - Harley-Davidson® Genuine High Performance 1.4kw Starter

I'm referring to the chrome starter end cover for the 1.4, I see one in your picture. [

The chrome starter is on the wish list (along w/a bunch of other stuff) just haven't gotten around to purchasing it yet. I'm hoping something will go wrong w/existing starter so I will have to have it replaced (under extended warranty) then I can just pay the difference and upgrade. ;)

Now just hold on a minute, you told me just awhile ago that you didn't understand statistics and logic........now you're quoting budgeting and costs along with logic.

OCD rule # ?, (forgot if it's 2 or 3)logic has no bearing on the decision.

Very true, but wife and kids have bearing on decision especially when kid is leaving for college in a few days. My last big expenditure for the bike was for the "go fast" goodies this spring/summer. ;D Then I decided to come to MV to meet some new friends, and thought that chrome money would be better spent on that trip. [smiley=nixweiss.gif]

So I'll just have to wait until winter and start piling up the chrome parts like I do every year. [smiley=huepfenjump3.gif]

OK, OK, you don't have to drag the kids into, especially your daughter that you are going to have to be guarding the dorm for.  I know you're on pins and needles about her going off to school already.  Almost as many pins and needles as you are having over MV. [smiley=banana.gif]

Don't sweat it d00d I put two daughters through college.  I know what you're feelin' but 8 days can't change the foundation you've laid for her in the past years.   [smiley=soapbox.gif]  I'm sure she will do well.   [smiley=xyxthumbs.gif]

She's got a good Daddy, without a doubt, and knows what's right and what's not, I'll bet...so, she'll flap her wings a little bit, but the stuff she's made of will be what keeps her head straight during the next few years, and makes her Daddy proud.   [smiley=xyxthumbs.gif] [smiley=xyxthumbs.gif]

I feel confident that she will be alright, just going to miss her being at home. I will have the empty nest syndrome happening then.

I have been used to getting her to take wife out shopping when wifey starts bugging the chit out of Dad. [smiley=huepfenjump3.gif]

Hey! Gary
You'll really find out what the marriage is made of, and watch out she may take up riding on back with you.  [smiley=huepfenlol2.gif]

I was just thinking that the other night that I need to talk to her about getting foul weather gear (rain suit/leathers/etc.) She has never ridden in foul/cold weather so that would be an adjustment for her. It would be nice to tell her pack an overnight bag we going on a bike trip. [smiley=xyxthumbs.gif]
