Hi, what the different in a FLHXSE2 AND A FLHXSE3. I have a 2012 and it is a FLHXSE2.

an easy way to tell is by the speakers on the saddle bag lids.    the 2012 has them.    another way,  did it come with a 2 pc seat?    the '12 did.

Its ALL in the VIN number .. the 10th digit is the year identifier
Starting in 2010, the year identifier switched back to letters, since newer models aren't likely to be confused with anything built in the '80s.

A – 2010
B – 2011
C – 2012
D – 2013
I'm thinkin I woulda known before I bought it .. Jus sayin ..

The salesman put a 2 on all of the paperwork.......Obviously it's the vin that really matters, but that's pretty funny that the bill of sale says 2 and you bought a 3

look at title and it is a 3 dealer will do paperwork all over. saleman dose not work ther no more.I did not no the difference between the 2 and 3 my fault will kick my self in the butt. will check on this place first. thanks
