Boom Audio Bass Ports
« on: April 22, 2012, 12:05:30 AM »

Just curious, why do you have to have the amp re-flashed by the dealer?  What difference would that make?  The bass ports are just breathers and have no electrical interface?

the reflash alters the lows on the amplifier from what I understand ... I did mine over a year ago and am very happy with it cant honestly say I noticed a difference spent the first 2 months with the wrong speakers back there from the factory like that  then put in the replacement boom spkrs and totally different sound ran like this for a few weeks then did the bass ports and even better sound then got the flash done glad there was no charge to do it..
