I got the letter yesterday to go and see if my regulator needs to be replaced.

Had my replaced at the dealer last week. Dealer had to order chrome reg.

I commented on this on another thread, too, but received the same letter on July 30th, scheduled the "lookie-see" by the dealer on Aug. 4th (it did fall under the recall....oops, excuse me....not a recall but a "product program")  I guess that sounds better than recall.  Anyway, scheduled for replacement this Saturday (Aug 18th) so only took two weeks to get the part in.  BTW, my buddy on his 2012 SERG Skunk went with me (no letter) just to check to see if his was part of the recall (it was not) so the MC must have implemented the change on the assembly line at some point.
Also, I told my dealer it was not an issue to go back with a black one if they did not have the chrome in stock.  Service manager stated they had to go back with what was removed unless it was an emergency situation (out of town....had to ride back home).  No problem with that but just took a bit to get the part in.

My regulator need to be replace also the bike was checked on Saturday and part came in that week and installed the next Saturday in about 1/2 hour I was in and out.
