I don't think brightasslights makes a light for your bike. Go with the custom dynamics module listed above

About the new LED rear light setup on the SERG and SESG, you only have the two lights.  The full light on the left will flash for LT and when applying brake with LT on, the right side will light up solid.  This give a clear intent of the rider, brake light on with LT being indicated.  The opposite of course for a RT and braking.

A buddy has the Wig Wag module, not sure of the manufacturer though.  I've not really paid attention to his rear lights, but the way I understand it in my example above with the LT and braking, the left side light would be flashing indicating the LT, but the right side would also flash in sequence for the modulator (whatever pattern you have working).  This just seemed very confusing to me, anyone else?

When I bought my new '09 SERG I kept my headlight modulator and Back Off rear modulator from my '08 SERK.

I installed the headlight modulator and that was a no brainer, works great.

But on my rear Back Off modulator, I elected to get the LED light bar spoiler for my chopped tourpak.  I then hooked up the Back Off modulator to the LED spoiler and when braking it flashes the pattern I picked, flash four times then on for four seconds, repeating this pattern.  My lower factory LED's stay functioning as normal with the LED spoiler being VERY noticeable mounted even higher on the bike than the tail lights.

When I do ride without the chopped tourpak, I just don't have any modulator working.  I ride without the chopped tourpak only about 20% of the time.

Maybe I'm confused about the way the stock HD LED's will work with a modulator.  Can someone with them operational post a video of them working?  I still think it would be confusing for someone from behind to differentiate between modulated brake lights and when the brakes are on with a turn signal on at the same time.

Thanks.

the custom dynamics module is a plug and chug .  it has several flash patterns to turn to for the braking option. it is very easy for anybody to install and I have had NO problems with it and have had many tell me at the stop light they had seen me so much better with the flash

Thanks for the video links, but neither one of them have a turn signal on while the flashing brake light is on.  I understand the different flash patterns and with just braking they look awesome and would definitely get my attention.

But say the slower flashing one was used during an indicated turn, I think from the rear it would be very hard to differentiate from just braking and turning.  If someone had a LT on while braking, someone from behind could easily go around to the left without actually realizing that the bike had his LT on.

Am I reading way more into this than I should?  But it still confuses me somewhat.

Does someone here have a short video that can show the brakes AND turn signal on with this type of rear flashing module?

Thanks.

I should have that answer sometime later this week when mine shows up.....

X2.  I just ordered mine today too from CD. I like the fact that it is plug and play and has 10 different modes.  I had the Wig Wag on my 09 SERG. worked fine, but had a slower pulse rate than the CD does and you have to splice it into the wiring.  Just my 2 cents.

FLHXSE's have a different rear light setup. 2 vertical LED's running in between the bags and the rear fender.  Brightass lights does not make anything for them.

led tail lights, how does one come up with a screen name of led tail lights?  I understand you have a SESG with the twin rear LED tail lights, but it also has two saddlebags, two wheels, seat, etc.  How did you decide on the tail lights?

Just inquisitive is all...  ;D  ;D  ;D
