A few weeks ago I visited my dealer and mentioned that they had some nice customs there. Unfortunately I had forgotten my camera and was unable to take any pictures to share. Of course some of my friends (Insert: Rjob, 2Lane, and TCnBham otherwise known as the "Three Amigo's" ) here gave me a little bit of friendly ribbing about this. Well the other day when I had my bike serviced I remembered to take my camera and get some pictures. Along with the hope of possible catching dealer uncrating some '07 CVO's of which didn't happen. Anyway here are some pictures of a few of the customs. First one is a tribute to 911. I forgot to get the builder of this bike, as it was not for sale and only on display. I'll try to get that information next time I'm there, or if someone recognizes this bike please advise.

These next couple of pictures are of one of the last bikes Gary Woodford of Milwaukee Iron in Lynchburg Va. built before he passed. If any of you ever watched the show "Southern Steel" on the Discovery channel you will remember Gary.

those Milwalkee Iron gas tanks always reminded me of a large version of the ole tombstone chopper tanks.....remember them?  :-/ har!  [smiley=huepfenjump3.gif] spyder

That first scoot is the property of http://www.americas911ride.org. It is being raffled off on Saturday 8/19 in NYC at the Sheraton in Manhattan as the culmination of the tribute ride to the three crash sites from 09-11-01. Thanks for the pics, Dood...I missed these earlier.  What a great looking bike...I don't know about owning one of those kind of bikes, but they sure are nice to look at.

That is only partially correct. Although the bike is "technically not for sale you can purchase raffle tickets for a chance to win it in New York on August 19th.

Save your money though, I bought five and plan on driving it home

Thanks for the additional info and pics. When I first saw those twin towers I was thinking they were oil coolers, but after taking a closer look found out otherwise. Bike looks awesome, but due to all the stuff in front of bike (towers, chin spoiler, etc) I was a little concerned of airflow over the motor? [smiley=nixweiss.gif] Not sure how/if these things will affect that, and probably the person that wins this bike isn't going to use it for a daily rider anyway so it may be a mute point.
