Signed the paper work for my 2012 CVO FLHX3 in Citrus/Gunstock Saturday. Sitting here at work impatiently waiting for the dealer to call me to let me know the delivery truck has dropped it off.
This will be my first CVO. Coming from a 2009 Street Glide. I feel in love with the CVO SG's when they first came out but when I saw 2012 in Citrus I just about wet myself.
Went into the dealer Saturday to get the state inspection done on the 09. The CVO SG's have been scarce around here lately and I had pretty much given up and had been talking to the salesman about a 2012 Road Glide Ultra. Well as luck would have it I was talking to him while I was waiting for the inspection to get done and he tells me, by the way guess what I have coming in on Monday. We went back to his office and started running numbers. At first when he told me what I'd be looking at as far as monthly payments go I was like

I kindly thank the salesman and the sales manager and walked out. I went to another local dealer who I'd been talking to and told the salesman there about the bike coming in. He tells me we have one coming in next month (he's been telling me this for the past few months) I told him the deal the other dealer was giving me and we go into his office and he crunches a few numbers and tells me that he could not do any better.
I then start asking him about the RGU that I was looking at with close to $3,000 worth of add ons. He crunches those numbers and tells me for the RGU the payments would only be about $90 less than the CVO.
So off to the first dealer I go. Took me a couple of hours of good hard thinking before I finally told them lets do the deal. And so here I am.

Anyway I look forward to all the tips and tricks I'm already discovering on this site.
