TTS Mastertune Question
« on: May 19, 2012, 06:17:33 PM »

I spoke on the phone here in Alabama with a Dyno tuner about dynoing my bike .He said It cant be done using TTS with the oxygen sensors hooked up and that he has to have bungs installed 6 inches from heads or it wont tune then leave the oxygeb sensore out. From what I have read this is not correct.

Assuming you have accurately represented what he told you, I'd suggest you do yourself a really big favor and find someone else to do your tuning.

I have heard this before, leaving the 02 sensors out makes it run open loop.  And while some think that is the only way to tune a motor that is old school.  Use the technology we have to the fullest for the best possible tune.

Oh, X10, go find a real tuner....
