Nice results, CVOgirl!   :2vrolijk_21:

Those numbers are a little optimistic for just pipes and a power commander.

I think those are very reasonable #s with a pipe and PCV.  I did a simple dyno run to get the torque and HP numbers at 1000 miles completely stock.  They were 87 HP, 103 Tq.  I know there's a big variation in numbers, depending many different factors.  CVOgirl's results could definitely be from a good tune.  All that matters is how her cute little tushy likes the sensations that occur when she opens up that throttle.  Right?   :2vrolijk_21: :pepper: :pineapple: :cucumber: :apple: :huepfenlol2: :bananarock: :mango: :orange:

Here's the deal guys.  I really don't give a crap what the numbers are.  Honestly, I posted my Dyno numbers because I knew that if I gave out the numbers everyone would ask to see the "sacred sheet".  I read on this forum where guys will drive their scoots a thousand miles away just to take it to the best dyno man.  Not me.  I took it 2 miles down the road to my local shop that I always deal with and I let Brice (senior tech) dyno the scooter.  He also let me watch the process.  In talking to him I find out that he just returned 2 weeks ago from a 1 week refresher seminar on Dyno technique 's.  I find out later from the service manager that he graduated first in the class with doing dyno's.  Did I know all this when I let him do my scoot?  No, but it wouldn't have changed anything.  My opinion of a great dyno is "what does it feel like when it's running out on the road".  Without even knowing the numbers, I could feel them sitting on the saddle cranking down the road.  There was a remarkable difference after the dyno.  Did I get lucky??  Some of you may say yes, but me.....well I think that in every shop there is a quite tech in the back with awesome abilities that probably gets overlooked because he's not out there promoting himself. Enough said.  ~Judy

Dyno numbers are just that numbers. If it makes you a$$ tighten up and your happy that's good enough for most, as the truth of all it is that most of you never ride much above 3500 RPM and most of the time never go past 40% on the throttle. What this means is you very rarely use what you see on the sheet anyways!

I've told people for years to take there dyno sheets and find 4000 RPM then fold it right on that 4000 RPM point. So now you have a front side and a backside. Go ride your bike normal and just pay attention to what the RPM is used most of the time you ride. If your like most of us you do not need to look and the side of the chart that is 4000 and up!

The 4000 and up side is Great for bar hopping, drag racing and bragging at the bar but that's about it.
