Been trading last few years, was going to get the red bike but you know everything is delayed. Saw this stock Ultra with 96 and six speed said wtf looks ok. With the 06 se as a trade I get a check from the dealer instead of me paying them. I love the 06 SE ( hate the color) but it runs great (race tuner etc). The 07 are tempting but I don't think long term I would keep it. I am looking for a long and meaningful relationship. But you know we have to take care of the immediate needs so enters the stock Ultra for this year.I'll use and abuse her until I see an SE that makes me want her without hesitation. I am partial to the touring bikes this year(07) they have some decent paint but the other SE's really got a good douching of the good stuff. So I have to be a CVO wanna-be for 07. I'm still going to lurk here to stay on the "inside" track. [smiley=drink.gif]

Since the 07's don't do it for you you've made a good decision. Enjoy your new ride and be sure to keep us all updated on the goodies and upgrades. [smiley=xyxthumbs.gif]

Uhh....If I could ask.....whatda get for your '06 on trade.....I'm debating the same thing right now....I'll get a trade-in offer then probably try to sell my '06 outright first...if that don't work go for the trade......also tryna find out some info about getting the 110" installed....nobody seems to know for sure how it'll be done though.....if the cases need to be opened and then bored out I might not opt for that particular option.

I was feelin a little bad but you guys sure took the edge off Thanks!  Ok for the numbers I got 24k for the cuse. In MA. we have the sales tax but when you trade the amount the trade is worth is not taxable so I save on the sales tax. MSRP is $21,135 so the tax savings is $1056.75 so I effectively took $25k for the cuse. Dealer would have to give me a check for the difference. So if it was not for the frickin Harley Wish List  I would have been able to have the new bike paid and put the rest in the bank. So after all my wishes $4800.00 worth (before discounts) ( which includes the 110) I have to shell out a couple of k for what I want. But if I see anymore nice pics of that black and orange 07 the whole deal may change. I got an appointment Thursday . Sales manager said today 07cuses still available  but nothing in stock of course.

Not downsizing, but upgrading to a long term relationship with one of Maudie's Babies:

Here's the wish list . Most I will do myself except for the engine upgrade. I will buy now and have them do the work this winter. That way the upgrade is under factory warranty.

Just came back from dealer at lunch. I got the 20% off the options. Had to tell them to write the p/s agreement without the labor because nobody knows. Still a question of boring the cases. I wanted to get the upgrade on original agreement for warranty issues. BTW the cherry and black is nice
