Green Machine: Boy, what a color. I almost bought a used one with 2,000 miles on it (still had the new-bike smell) but decided to wait. That Kryptonite and Black Diamond has to be the most eye catching, outrageous color combination ever and boy does it turn heads. You have a great bike there and sure not to see many more of them.
As for adding to the bike, what more can you do. Ran into a guy a week or so ago that bought the White gold pearl and Starfire Black FLTRXSE and had over $10K extra just in the motor. Great if you are into that (and there are quite a few out there that are....keep that aftermarket a'rollin') but boy, I like my bike just as it is (EXCEPT for that exhaust nanny in the form of the catalyst). There are all types here on this forum and that's what makes it great. From just my preliminary review, we may not all agree on everything but we have a great ride in the CVO's to keep us together.
Now the cat discussion....thanks for the reply's on that issue. I'll start posting a thread on that discussion as I decide which way to proceed. Talked with a guy in KY that has a 2011 FLHTCUSE that actually cut out a patch at the cat, removed the ceramic material and tig welded it back together. Yes, he did put a tuner on it (the cobra, I believe) and it made a HUGE difference. Guy works at a muffler shop so pretty easy for him to complete. I like the coring option but if I take out some of it, I want it all out. The Fullsac option looks the best at this point. I like the stock look with that option and it's a bit less expensive. Well whicever way I go, I'll try to post it here.
