Terry,
I wanted the new seat for the leg room and comfort for myself and the GF. I don't ride two up very often but the stock seat isn't the best for any distance. When I went 2 weeks ago I put on about 250 miles and I paid for it for the next couple of days. My a$$ was killing me with the stock seat. I think I'll leave it on and go for a long ride this week end. I want to head up into Vermont along Rt.5 and I'll check out the comfort level. Also the seats are so easy to switch it really isn't any problem to change them, you know, if I want to put it up against Vgirls in a competition.
I am looking forward to being a 2 CVO "maniac" like you, the GF explained to me the other day that we'll need a long distance bike, and without prompting she said that we'll need to keep the V because it's a great run around ride. I knew she was a keeper.
Although marrige may have to come first before I can make another investment like that.
So sooner or later the second CVO will come along.
Agreed, Ed...the seats change out fast, so if you want that lean, mean, sexy machine look, you can always switch it back to stock. The stock seat for a passenger is not much different than riding on the fender

My GF took a short ride on it with me, and said she's got to have something else. She has been spoiled by the CUSE though, but it's OK to spoil your woman, if she's a "keeper". Suzanne loves the bikes as much as I do, and also likes the idea of having the traveling bike and one for just cruising/running around, so having both is a nice luxury.
Did you check out Boston103's Cherry [smiley=cherry.gif] ?...THAT is a nice one and would make a perfect stable mate to your VROD

Or a brand spanking new 07 Red/Black CUSE2...you would earn big points with her for getting her a throne like that, with the tunes and everything. I have to hold Suzanne down sometimes on the back, 'cause she's back there rockin' and rollin' to the XM or the CD I made called "Bike Tunes". She's a bad influence on my already bad OCD, bringing me cold ones while I'm working on the bikes, or detailing them, and pitching in to help too. I think she's a keeper too, and at my age, they're gettin' hard to find, bro.
Enjoy your ride this weekend, and let me know how the seat works out for you and your sweetie [smiley=xyxthumbs.gif]
