Sorry Bearcat, just saw your question. There is a pump and a release (a la Nike shoes...) built in to the left side lower of the seat. Can adjust on the fly which is very nice on long stretches between stops. Does sit you back just a tad from stock but close...

Wow man, intriguing for sure.  I've visited the DG website before but I think I go have a closer look.  Thanks for posting the picture and info San Diego.

Happy too, let me know if you need any more info. They also have a killer artist there that came up with that design using different types of skins...

Firmness wise, how would you say the DG compares to the Corbin?  We know the Corbin's are pretty firm seats so is the DG about the same or is it more "cushy"?  I just read on the DG website where it says their seats need no break in period.

Definately not as hard as the Corbin. I have 30,000 miles on my current Corbin and the DG was more "broken in" the day I got it. With the air system though you can control the firmness but will never get as hard as the Corbin.

Man I'm intrigued but I guess you just don't know until you sit on one and try it.  None of these seats are cheap to just turn around and it not work for some reason or another.  Feel like riding to Texas??  ;D

I just put this Mustang seat on and only took a short ride (I am still recovering from my Lung Cancer surgery).
But I think it's gonnabe a sweet seat. It doesn't sit you forward like the other Mustangs seats I've sat on. Maybe even back a little.

It's the first Mustang seat I've seen with a stich pattern. Man it's looks sweet on the bike. These are only Mustang pictures. I plan on taking some pictures tomorrow.

I bought it through http://www.cruisercustomizing.com/ and saved some serious money.
Mustang said it was a two week wait but it was right at a month to get.

Here's the pics.....the blue SESG is my bike (regular Corbin Classic Solo) while my wife's 09 Street Glide is the Corbin Classic Solo Reach.  You can see that the seat back on her bike is a lot steeper angle than it is on mine.  When I sit on her bike it feels like I'm down in a bucket.

By the way, my seat is pretty much straight off the shelf with slight shaving in the butt area.  Her seat has the tongue narrowed and shaved.

Ah, JCZ, great pictures, thanks.  I recognize your bike and your wifes also now.  I didn't realize it was you.  I have seen some other photos of your bikes on this site.  Actually saw the pictures when you were getting your seat installed at the Corbin factory.  Some nice rigs you guys have there.  Well your seat definitely looks like mine less the stitch pattern, so I guess it's just all a matter of what you are use to or can get use to.  Another member on this thread has a terrific looking Danny Gray seat with great things to say about it.  I'm sure I'll give mine some more time.  Thanks again for this pics.

I think bars that are a couple inches closer to you will change the way you sit in that seat.....will make a difference.  Give it a thought. :2vrolijk_21:

By the way...........I just finished our vacation ride report!
