I cruise in 5th at 55 mph and rpm reads 2500. I usually do not go into 6th until i want to go 60 plus. I can't compare to an older one because I converted from a goldwing.

6th is pretty worthless except for highway cruising with the stock gearing. I'll probably go to a 30T pulley or the Drago's IDS chain drive to change the final drive ratio eventually... or maybe change the primary gearing instead...
