Look for a mid year water cooled CVO touring model intro. The 2014 touring models will be the next generation models with water cooled heads offerring more stock power with way less heat. HD has secured the cooling system patent for touring bikes and it looks quite neat and well hidden.

The last patent design I saw about a year ago indicated that the radiator(s) where going to be housed in the lower fairings. I can't help to wonder how that's going to effect foot comfort?  Based on what you've heard, or seen, is this still the same design they are developing?  Thx!

Radiators make heat, too.  Lots and lots of it. :o

Persactly...Ever sat on a Vrod in traffic when the fan comes on?  It will take your breath away.

Unless I'm mistaken, HD limits the CVO's to 4 different models, so if they do a RG, UC, RK, and a softail of whatever description, that'll probably be it.  No SG.  That surprises me, but since they are doing an RK, which doesn't surprise me at all, that's already 3 "touring" bikes in the lineup.

No 120" motor...that's a pipe dream, IMO.  Water cooled in 2014, as that will be a HUGE deal to introduce.  If they vent the radiator(s) located in the lowers angled off to each side instead of directly back on your legs, it won't be bad.

You would probably need a fixed fairing with lowers to direct the heat away from the rider with a wet motor. The heat could also be vented at the rider in cold weather like on the metric tourers.

Just had a thought to what might be the reasoning for no SESG this year. You think the MoCo has paid attention to what some SESG and SEUC owners have done and incorporated those changes into one model. IE: detachable TP, speakers in lowers & saddlebags, extended saddlebags, rear fender fascia, etc. It would make sense for them to try to appeal to both markets in one if they are not having one. :nixweiss:
