Used a .625 S&S cam(you don't need the support plate "stuff")with a 58 tbw/V&H HO pipe, with our heads this past winter.
More of a mid-upper end power curve combo, from what we saw.

That is about where I wanted the power, was that build with the hc pistons, how does your heads compare to the mva. Thanks

Well my opinion is I will give my MVA heads even up for a set of Hillside ported heads in a heartbeat. Any takers? Only reason I used them to start with was I had a 96" motor and wanted ACR's in my 103" build. This winter I will have a set of heads ported by somebody who can also do the ACR mod to them. Just way more convienent than the manual release and no burnt fingers.

if youve already got the MVA heads, port those.we get very good results porting SE(or most aftermarket heads)as well as OEM castings.the cams would be a good choice for your build too,we use alot of the .625`s

For a street build those cams will become soggy on a 110" motor at 10.5/1. Looking at the L/D tells the head story and why a shorter high lift cam suits better for most unless you are building a bike for racing, then bigger and more compression is best as are more inches.

we install ACR`s,& like i said to the OP,have your MVA`s ported instead of starting with OEM castings

The mva will feed your build and not constrain a 103-110  build
I made the tools and drill acr holes

Wasn't really "soggy", just did not pile-drive torque, but did push off a very good hp number, and that was just what that client was looking for. :2vrolijk_21:
