2011 CVO ultra sputter issue with thundermax
« on: June 25, 2012, 04:03:05 PM »

I have a 2011 road glide CVO 110, with thundermax tuner, 10k miles, every so often while riding the bike shuts off like only for 1-2 seconds then refires and keeps going, it's like the ignition is shutting off???? nothing noticed on the gauges, What could it be???? The other day I rode 150 miles and it did it 3 times, 2 times it lasted 1 second , one time it lasted 2-3 seconds. Any thoughts????? I had the thundermax firmware updated at daytona this spring by them, this just stated in last month. Someone mentioned an issue with the fuel injection plug corroding, they said to put some dielectic grease on it, they mentioned that harley has some recall on it or something on the plug????

Make sure that you have dielectric grease on the ECM connector.

Check you have not switched on the "Decel  Fuel Cut " in your Module config/Basic settings window, if switched off there should be a "0" in the window for Decel Fuel Cut, if there`s a "1" then its switched "ON",  If so change it to a "0" and "write to Module", I used the fuel decel when I had a inlet air leak and what you have described sounds similar, sorted out the inlet leak now don't need to use the decal fuel cut.
