The case is waterproof.
Not chrome ala Rider's Claw but WATERPROOF!

Gonna try the mount out.

A word to the wise the one thing I learned about waterproof cases is that the phone tends to over heat. May not happen with all waterproof cases but it did with the one I had.

I've had my lifeproof case for about a week now and it's pretty slick. I got it mainly for dust protection, but not having to worry about water damage is very nice. I used it this past weekend at the water park taking pictures of my boys and it worked great. It's also a much slimmer case than my otterbox. Which is nice as well. Only gripe I have about the case is the price!

Already have the case and belt clip...seems to work for me. No heat issues with the phone yet.
The bar mount will be here soon.

Expensive for sure but what's a little cash and heat?

I have had a life proof case for 8 months.  Im actually on my second one.  I broke my first one, the clip at the bottom. I can tell you that I have beat the crap out of the case and have had no issues with it or the phone inside.  I was taking underwater video of my daughter in the pool a few days ago.

i have GPS with blue tooth so I do not need to mount the phone to the handlebar.

OK, The Lifeproof case is "the bomb". Just grippy enough and also slides into a pocket with ease. The belt clip seems strong.

The bar mount will not work! No place to put it on the std bars. Oh well...anyone want it?

Don't need GPS and the bluetooth works with the Nolan so the phone can stay in a pocket or on the belt.
