Didn't Van or someone offer you one of the older (softer) ones?  I know the new, improved ones are not as flexible as the ones that came on the bike....but, hold up better.  It sounds as if your convienced that the problem is solved, that it's all in the ft. mtr. mount.  If you're like me, you can live with a bit of a problem as soon as you're sure of a source/solution.  ;) spyder

Sorry. Like i said i chased the bad vibes and it turned out to be the rear swingarm mounts and bushings. When you do it you need the alighnment tool.

Thanks van.   I really do appreciate the mount.   I had the rears checked out.  They seemed pretty good. I'm hoping the new one will seat in.   I think it will.   Need to dump some oil on it.  :P

Van,, if it is the swingarm, would I only feel it at low rpms?  Like at idle speed?   I had a guy look at that area,, said it was ok,,   Asked me if didn't carry around any large passengers.  :P.  I said I rarely had anyone on the back of this bike.  Loosening the front motor mount slightly sounds interesting to me.  Only for a while tho.   :o

Just a thought, are you sure the motor isn't contacting the frame at some point?  I had a similar problem with shaking at low rpm, turned out rear cylinder rocker box cover was making contact with the frame at rpm just above idle.  I have mid frame chrome covers and had to bent them slightly for clearance, but a bad motor mount could result is sufficient rearward movement to do the same thing.  While off the bike and idling, take a look and twist the throttle a little to see if the engine is making contact.  Just a thought...

Hey Pete,,  looks all clear all around the motor.  Had it up on the lift and looked good all around.  I was hoping it was something like that I could see. I'm hoping that riding this thing,,, it will improve,,,    :nixweiss:

Im not sure how you could tell it was ok just by looking at it. You would need to disassemble it and have a look then at that point the parts arnt expensive so replace them. Mine had about 50k miles and the rear mounts were metal to metal. The whole thing his kind of a hokey design. It really wasnt that hard to do once the wheel is off. Jim at metal dragon shipped all the correct parts promptly. Im like you i kept changing the front mount and couldnt fix the problem. I dont remember the rpm range but it was a horrible buzzing that made the bike unfun to ride. Think i posted some pics ill look. :bananarock:

I have an 05 SEEG also that seems to vibrates badly at idle. Is this normal?  What is normal this is my first Harley and I have nothing to compare it to. I replaced the front engine mount ( OEM H.D. Parts) with no change in the vibration.

At idle it blurs your vision and shakes bad enough the mirrors are hard to see images. Raise the idle 300-400 rmps`s and shes smooth. Any ideas?

I get to pick up mine today,,  I gave it to Phil Peterson in Miami.  I was at my wits end with it and didn't have any idea where to go.  I got a call on Friday that they replaced the front mount again and aligned it.  They say it's "good" now.  I was asked if it had cams and whatever else I had done over the years I've had it.  So I will pick it up later today and see how it is.   I was told that if it was in the swing arm it wouldn't shake like that while not moving,,    Heard that one before.   I'm gonna see what's up later.  I'll let you know.   :nervous:   I need to let Van in on this too.

Assuming the mounts are OK and not bound up or misaligned, you may just need a little tweak to the fuel mixture at idle.  Stock fuel settings were extremely lean, and even if the bike has a tuning device on it you may still have need to tweak the idle mixture and cylinder balance.  Lot's of tuners and canned maps don't touch idle and low speed settings.  Tweaking them  smoothed mine out significantly.
