How about a small gas shock mounted to it, and you would not have to worry about it blowing closed if the wind caught it.

I,ve often thought of somthing like that but havent seen anything on the market for a harley tour pack yet...I would consider if something was out there...   Hey,,, this could be your retirement calling... , just find the right one, (see link below)  Shouldn't be too hard to package and market... I'll be your first customer..   :2vrolijk_21:

I noticed that the EGlide Goodies website shows model TB-3 while the J&P lists a TB-2.  Wonder what the difference is?  :nixweiss:

Looks like a good product but I am not excited about having to do surgery to the bottom and top tour-pak liners.  Unsure at this point.  May just go to the old tried and true non-retractable cable.

That is not necessary. You don't have to cut on the liners as they state. You can position the bottom bracket near the existing cut-out on the bottom liner and all is good. The brace clears the top liner with no mods needed. I will have to post a picture to show ya. Bottom line: Install is easy.

Below is a pic of the installed Ultra Brace. As you can see, no trimming of the CVO tour-pak liner is needed.

Boom Audio Bass Booster Port (P/N 76000013). There is one on the right side too.

Your SERGU should have the bass ports also.   :confused5:

ultrafxr,
Nope, they were not standard equipment on the 2011 SERGU. I did the install myself.

I'm pretty sure your 2012 SEUC was the first CVO model to have the Bass Ports factory installed.
