How do the Avon Cobras look on the bike? The sidewall looks a little weird in the pics I've seen online.
I've got a 21 front and 200 rear.

These tires rock!!!  If you do decide to got with them, but the 90/90 size tire on your front 21" wheel.....you won't regret it.  The 90/90 size tire is slightly larger in width and sidewall height than the stock HD tire.  You get an improved ride, better traction, and improved (reduced) front fender clearance (I hated the ugly gap between the front fender and tire that the original tire size gave).

Good luck!!

HD dealer actually replaced the front on warranty but only because it showed cupping at 5,000 miles. Service rep told me rear needed replacement but on my dime and I told them forget it, all the Dunlop D407 sales hype advertised them as "long wearing". Complained to Dunlop Motorcycle division and of course they hid behind HD, asked about the Elite & was told the D407 at the time was the only tire recommended for the FXSTSSE3.

With such great "customer service" I went to Avon Cobra's with over 8,000 miles and plenty tread both front & back, and seem to "track" better on the road.

I wanted to try the 250 rear but tread depth is less than the 240, would have gone with the Dunlop Elite 240 because of it's deeper tread but not after their response, Multi Tread technology my @$$...

I went with a Cobra 250, I'm not sure it looks any wider than the 240 because of the rim size. Might go with the 240 next summer to see. We might have to take a couple pictures and measurments to confirm this before I buy the next tire.
