You know it is hard for me to understand how people can be so jelious of others having nice stuff.  If they would get off there lazy a$$ and go to work and work longer that 2 weeks there they might could have some nice stuff 2.  I have a buddy that got his 2011 HD Ford F150 scratched from head light to head light to include key scratches to lens. :drink:

:o  Sorry to hear about that and hope your building or an adjacent building has security camera coverage.  I had a new car keyed once right after I purchased it and I made an insurance claim for the repair.  Just as well I didn't witness the person who did it as I'd have been in big trouble for what I would have done to the person.

I have no good adjective...this is a generalization that I cannot take credit for, but this is one more reason I dislike most people.  I don't want to insult my poodles, but they are so much better than people...

I really have been there and feel your pain..

Get it fixed, move on..hope that will be the end of it for you..

Have a great rest of the summer,

Stan

Sorry to hear about your misfortune!  :(  I grew up hearing my Dad say things like " I hate a sumbitch that will vandalize another man's property!! I think they're worse than a thief!!"  They may be? Both are bad!!

mitchtsmith, I am so sorry to hear about what happened to your bike. Wish you could have caught the S.O.B. I cover my bike whenever I leave it parked out of my sight. I know that is a hassle, and sometimes my wife gets irritated, but I think that is the best protection for what happened to you. I am 59, but if I caught some pr*&%K touching my bike I would still knock him down and ask questions later. What  happened to you is the same as theft in my book.CAHDBIKER

Sorry that happened. If there is one draw back to owning a CVO, it's worrying about things like this.  I get antsy when I park at a rally or at crowded parking lot....just have that fear of that old lady opening her door against my saddle bag.  Hope the repair doesn't cost you too much.

Bummer!!! Thats is BS... I had to buy a new bag top and it cost $505 msrp. I did get a 10% discount off that price. They quoted me 4 to 6 weeks, but got mine in 2, The good news is the paint matches perfectly.

Sadly the strip mall my office is in isnt that high-tech. Which is my I was told not to park over there to begin with. I was in a regular spot, not another vehicle within 50 ft. I now keep it right in front of my managers window, so even when I'm away he can keep an eye on it.

I would love to catch some one doing that to anyones bike or car for that matter.  I dont even need to know them.  I will hold them there till they get back or have someone go get them that does know them.  I was at the Easyriders rodeo in Chillicothe Ohio and watch a very drunk guy knock over a custom chopper in the camp grounds.  It wasnt a pretty sight for the drunk guy.  I personaly would not have taken that nice of a bike in there.  But I bet that drunk guy wondered where the broken nose and black eyes came from the next morning.  I am so sorry that this happened.  And may the person that done this there rectum bleed razor blades and there penis get caught in a chain and sprocket pulling in off at the root.  All while with having a huge kidney stone!

Sounds like a good idea, but don't you have to wait till it cools down to cover it??? Stan
