Depending on when you looked you might have seen only the temporary repair.  It's now site contextual.

Hey Kona76 maybe you could pass out site business cards to others in your area or find other bikes like yours on other sites and tell them about this one.That way it's more about the friendships you have created.
I agree with others that the new model year gets the majority of the attention but there are always universal problems that affect all years and this is a great place to find the answers to the problems that may crop up for you.
I also think it is a great place to check out potental mods, accessories,and even dealerships before you spend money on your bike.
It may be hard to locate other owners with out of production bikes such as the FXR but I bet at big events like Sturgis one or two could be found and remember that this site is just not for owners but those that appreciate a CVO bike or just modded Harleys too.
As far as Vrods I bet they will be increasing on this site since they are more plentiful compaired to an FXR and I bet those owners appreciate a good mod as well as us old baggers. ;D They just need to be told of this site.
I know when I first found this site I looked more for threads that talked about mods and accessories just for my bike but the more I read the more I got to know the people and enjoyed threads even if they didn't talk about my type of bike.

Someboody told me that Firedood parked his bike out by the street hoping someone would steal it so he could collect on the insurance so he could buy a real CVO and when he woke up the next morning, someone had dumped two old ratty sofas and a piss stained mattress next to it thinking it was the dump site for the annual neighborhood cleanup caimpaign!!! ;D ;D
