I installed the Daymaker LED headlight and highly recommend it. How can you put a price on the ability to see at night, and have the cages see you in the day and night.

Have the phase 7 headlight and running lights on my 2010 sesg. All I can say is WOW!!!! Every one I ride with even in the day light is like WTF!!! I am always in the lead at night. And talk about ease of installation, cost reduction and warrentee. You will not be disappointed. Have you ever been on the receiving end of a 747 airplane on final approach??? Install this headlight and every one you ride with will be!
Just a question about the Truck-Lite... Is the outer lens convex curved like stock or flat? It's hard to tell from online pics. Think this is going to be my next purchase...Thanks in advance

If you are intent on getting the HD version buy it from one of the 20% off dealers and save a bundle! I bought mine from Hales sport Center in Mansfield Ohio ----20 off , no tax.  I love it. Much better than the stocker.

The trucklite has a flat surface.  Unlike the stock headlight.    It also stick out farther when you put it on.   I bought a "frenched" ring that goes around the headlight.   I got mine from JP cycle.  He'd has them also hanging on the wall. Looks great.  I went with the round and matched up the turn signal lens covers too. they look great.  And the head light is a huge impProvement over stock. I would do it again.  :2vrolijk_21:

Anybody running the Truck-Lite with the stock headlight trim bezel? Curious just how much further it sticks out it is vs. stock :nixweiss:

Finally found Eagle Eye's post about his Truck-Lite 7 install and a frenched trim ring showing before and after pics. I think I'm going with the HD trim ring from a 20% off online retailer as shown here. http://www.harley-davidson.com/dwp/gma/dwp_gma_product.jsp?PRODUCT%3C%3Eprd_id=845524441840931&FOLDER%3C%3Efolder_id=2534374309444048&ASSORTMENT%3C%3East_id=2534374309444048&dwp_dealerid=110316&bmUID=1346728227954&bmLocale=en_US   Thanks all!  :2vrolijk_21:

To be perfectly candid.  The trucklite looks like crap without the frenched ring.  looks great with it tho :2vrolijk_21:

I talked to the part manager at my dealership today and he recomened going with some HID bulbs first.  Was wondering if anyone had tried those and what you thought?  If it will work it's a heck of a lot cheaper.

I started this thread because the stock headlight sux.  I just installed the "black" daymaker light and although I haven't had time to fully test it on back roads, I can tell it is much brighter.  I have ordered a black headlight trim ring because I don't like the looks of the chrome ring with the black headlight.
