I know that this is the big "Ford/Chevy" deal but I think once you ride one with the performance of the fairing attached to the frame (especially in any time of wind situation), you might feel different IMHO..

Well said

I waited 5 months for Big Red! It will come in time. I know it is hard to be waiting for something you really want.

Yep. I owned 2 Batwings before my Shark. I ain't going back.

And...as far as the look of the dual headlights...I can't see 'em from the saddle so why should I care?  ;)

Ok, so now I dont wanna wait for my FLHRSE5 and I'm thinking of getting the Roadglide they just got.  How hard/costly to switch over to a batwing?

Or am I crazy and just get the RK

You're crazy.

What about going the 'other' way?  Has this been done?

George,

Yes, it's been done.  I've read many threads on it on the HDforums site, and intend (with my better half's blessing) to make the conversion to a RG shark nose on my 10 FLHXSE this winter...

That is a popular conversion.

It is nice to see how they incorporate the paint scheme when one didn't exist to follow.   :cucumber:
