Ship or Rent?
« on: August 19, 2006, 02:15:25 PM »

Next year my harley "posse " is planning a trip to Glacier National park ( probably two weeks after Sturgis). Due to time constraints for my job (I can't take more than a week off at a time), do I ship my bike or rent one there?  (I know ride it out there, but not possible, so if someone has good experience with shipping company let me know!) thanks,  John

The locals here use Keyboard Carriage to ship bike. All have had good results.

There is some pretty good pricing available on shipping...If you would be renting for more than 5 days, I would suggest shipping in most cases...Just depends upon pricing at all points.

As a matter of fact, I plan to ship my bike to CA and ride into Canada next year and ride home.
