For somebody like myself I do not think the Daymaker is "All that". I've already started rounding up the parts to go back to a traditional light and HID's. These LED lights DO NOT cover the entire road when going through the corners thus why I spent hundreds of dollars adding Headwinds auxiliary lighting to illuminate the road when the bike is leaned. If the auxiliary lights don't do what I'm looking for (they should provided I adjust them correctly
) the Daymaker is history. The LED is great when on the flats. I really want to enjoy the Daymakers however they currently fall a little short of my expectations but dam they look good.
In regards to the various bezels I can only speak for the Yaffe version, I do not see any difference in the lighting while in the garage. My train of thought is/was to coat the underside of the "beak" with some sort of reflective material if I noticed a loss of light. If there were a tremendous loss of light I'd go back to stock.
I'm getting old, I definitely don't want to give up any light, I want more light......
