Goofing around.... Orange face during the day, no noticeable light loss at night, still maintains the orange light from the stock gauges..

Have been using Mobile 1 syn grease for awhile with good results. Sticks better where moisture might come into play

Mike, I'm sure you know this, just throwing it out there for others.

We do a lot of color coded hoses for diving, frequently using the braided loom.

Some of the ways we install it for a clean looking installation.

1) Matching color shrink tubing on the ends.
2) Matching color tape and shrink tubing. The braid is rolled inside out, slid over one end, taped (or shrink tubed) and then rolled back over itself down the hose. Shrink tubing on the opposite end.
3) Clear shrink tubing in place of non color matchable product.

BTW, I have seen shrink tubing that color.
