SIM card for CDN making occasional US trips??
« on: August 31, 2012, 01:04:47 PM »

I've been to the US a couple times in the last couple months....and am going down to Florida for 10 days spanning over Biketoberfest.....I'm getting my iPhone 4s un-locked by Telus so I'll be able to put in a US SIM card so I won't have to keep it 'for emergency use only'.

So, my question, what's the best SIM card to get? Probably just need phone, but, if reasonable, might get data as well.

If they're modding it to be able to put a mini card in it, Sandisk is about the best card, IMO.  Super reliable.  They make them up to 64GB, but 32 would probably be more than enough unless you store a lot of movies, photos, or stream a lot of stuff.  Most "normal" people will rarely need anything over 16GB.

Try out Best Buy

http://www.bestbuy.com/site/Mobile-Phone-Accessories/SIM-cards/pcmcat265100050014.c?id=pcmcat265100050014
The reviews and complaints are not encouraging....even in Canada Best Buy is the last choice.
