Paint Help
« on: September 01, 2012, 06:36:09 PM »

As most of you have seen by now the 2013 CVO Ultra no longer has a plain solid color tourpak.  They now (finally) carry the accent colors up into the tourpak.  I want to do that to my 2012.  Can anyone recommend a painter in WI or a place I could send mine to have that done?  Does the moco do it?  Thanks for your help.

localprez, in Cycleworld Magazine a company called  Color Rite (www.ColorRite.com) 800-736-7980 or 800-358-1882 may have what you need color wise. Then of of course you would have to find a painter to make it look just right. I have an 09SEUC stardust silver and midnight blue. I just want to paint my helmet the twilight silver to match the bike and reflect some heat. Going to Arkansas and back earlier this year would have probably been a little more pleasant without a black helmet. Sometimes when I stopped to take a break the helmet was actually too hot to hold your hand on. Anyways I agree that the plain tourpaks did look a little out of place on the bikes they came with especially for what we pay. CAHDBIKER
