C & C Seats
« on: September 08, 2012, 07:46:57 AM »

I'm shopping around for a solo, pillion and rider backrest set up.  I like the looks of the C & C products.  Anybody have any feedback?  Thanks.

My experience with two seats is that they make an excellent product. Top quality and excellent customer service.  I don't think you will be disappointed.   :)

I have owned a C&C solo seat..they make a quality product and their service is very good. Fit and finish was excellent and from order to delivery was 2 weeks. I did find that for all day riding my Corbin solo is more comfortable. But that is a personal choice. Certainly the Corbin order and delivery time is longer and if you have a problem or a customization issue their service is not so good.....but they make a quality seat as well.

I have C&C seats on both my FLHXSE2 and FXSTC. Great quality, fit and finish and the company is great to deal with.

I have C&C solo w/pillions on all my bikes. Chuck is extremely easy to work with on designing the seat you want. He will send you samples of the patterns your considering. Straight talker and won't sell you what you don't need. Fit and finish is second to none. Extremely fast turn around on order. Tell em what you want and that's what you'll get.

JW,

Does your 2011 have the ribs on top of the rear fender?  If it does, did that cause any problems with the pillion?  Thanks.

I have three of the C&C seats.  One solo for my FLHXSE, and. SportTour for the same.  Also have a solo for my 2003 Heritage Springer.

For the FLHXSE, I can ride all day.  Longest ride was about 17 hours, and 900 miles.  I also added the fender strips, which still work with the SportTour.  I don't believe they will work with the solo pillion.

Excellent product, with excellent service.  That's a rare find these days.

I just bought a solo/pillion from a member here. Quality is awsome. Fit to the tank is better than the stocker. Yes the pillion fits with the strips in place.
I just got it on today. It feels fine but seems to move me forward but that might be the backrest keeping me from slouching.
I am concerned that the pillion mount to the solo bracket will rub the fender. Any of you with some time on the seat have that problem?

You might want to check out the Danny Grey seat. Cost a bit more than the C&C but pretty amazing. I have the "Airhawk" Solo with the drivers backrest and passenger detachable pillion (goes over the ribs) that I designed with their artist to match the Maple paint and it is amazingly comfortable as well as beautiful.
Can't go wrong with the C&C though for sure.

In my opinion, C&C solo is the best looking seat. Quality is tops and comfortable to match. Chuck is great to deal with.
