Morning Ya'll!
Thought I'd go ahead and post a few pics I've taken already. Left Memphis Saturday and lucky for my Buddy Mike and me, it was a Tennessee Vol home game and we saw orange all the way to Morristown Tn which was our first nights destination. Nice days ride and when we got in the room and was watching the game I think half the people we saw on TV we recognized that we passed them on I40!
Stopped at the Colboch HD in Morristown TN. Really nice dealership...huge! Even thought I saw Barney Fife...but it wasn't. Checked into hotel and called it a night.
Got up Sunday and made our way to Switzerland Inn just south of Spruce Pine NC. Nice twisty roads and bout a 2hr ride. When we got up to hotel we could barely see in front of your face as the fog was so thick. Pulled in to check into room and wait on Tommy and Judy to get in.
Yesterday was a wash out as it will be today. Tommy and I went into town yesterday in between storms to get some necessary supplies we were running out of.
Wasn't bad when we got off the Parkway below the fog and clouds. Last night could hear it rain steady all night...woke up this morning and fog actually was down enough that I could see we are on a mountain and we do have a mountain view room!
It don't matter what the weather does, it's been a gas. Laughed so hard I was crying too many times to count. Rest of week is suppose to be awesome and look forward to seeing ya'll in MV. Prayers being sent to those who will be making there way in. Love ya'll and God Bless!
