linking photos from Windows Live
« on: September 25, 2012, 02:19:14 PM »

Was asked how to do this and have never used the service.  So, as with so many things in life, have no stinking clue.

Will be at least tonight before would get a chance to to sort it.  Does anyone know?  Using the Windows Live online hosting what type of link is generated or other steps are necessary to display a picture here?

I'm not familiar with Windows Live but got a couple questions.
Does Windows Live emulate as an additional drive or is it a web based service?  If Windows Live shows up as a drive on My Computer, you should be able to select it as you do normally. If it is a Web based service such as ICloud and/or iWork I don't think you will have any luck.   :nixweiss:

I didn't look at it either.  But the gent who was asking took the suggestion to use Photobucket instead.  It's too simple not to use.
