How much is too much

Stopped by dealer today to inquire about the 2013 cvos , ther going to ask $2500 over sticker plus freigh and prep.

I paid MSRP plus freight plus tax for my 2012 SESG, no set-up fees, they started out wanting $2,500 over MSRP plus everything including set-up.  But at least the wife and I each got a new t-shirt.  :nixweiss:

You shouldn't have to pay the B.S. setup fees and freight on top of MSRP, but of course it always comes down to supply, demand, and uninformed or unconcerned buyers that allow the dealers to exploit the situation to their benefit.  You really can't fault the dealers however if the consumer is unwilling to invoke their buying power.

What is too much, is determined by the consumer.

M.S.R.P. for me is only the starting point.  Bike, Car, whatever...Yes I walked out many times over the years, but Never* paid M.S.R.P....Persistence and patience, research is required..Unless..*Unless you mush have it NOW!. been there too...Ha Ha!

I typically pay MSRP, but no fees.   No "setup", freight, etc., nothing but MSRP and sales tax...

There are dealers out there that will sell them at MSRP, if you have the time and patience to look around.  Last time I looked the economy in most parts of the country is sluggish and luxury items like this are hard to move when people dont have extra spending money.
