Paul Sr.'s Road Glide was recently listed on e-bay...did not follow it to see if it was sold.

There is definitely a difference with these guys on the Discovery Channel and in person.  TV is HOLLYWOOD!!!!!

It's not so much them as the negative side of society they represent. Instant celebrity, fame and money based on smoke and mirrors. The saddest thing of all in my book is that Sr. sold something real and honest he built from nothing - - - - Orange County Ironworks. Long after this sad fad with their show and the marketing associated with it fades from the public conciousness, OC Iron Works will continue making ornamental fences, window frames, grates etc and doing it well and without fanfair. Whomever bought that business is the real winner in all of this.

i believe in one episode they said that the other son bought out Sr. so its still in the family
I believe you are right on that. I know in couple of episodes where they have had athletic competitions w/OC Ironworks one of the sons has been on opposing side.

I used to be an avid watcher of the show, but kind of lost interest when they started selling cologne and doing 7 Eleven commercials. :o ::) :-[

Personally, I think I want to ride a bike that is somewhat "engineered"; or has the look and feel of a well planned, engineered and fault tolerated tested motorcycle. The OCC solution to engineering is getting toasted on beer and whatever, then "lets go make a bike".

I am not jealous, nor do I seek approval from fans who just don't know how piss poor OCC is at making a "custom" bike. It's like going to the ".99Cent" store and buying the fine products in the "gourmet section". That is my analogy for OCC Custom TV Rides: "Gourmet Theme Park Rides priced way over the actual worth and effort".

Would you rather cross a bridge made by an industry known and respected engineer/designer with IBM PC/ Apple Mac or cross that bridge made by a self proclaimed, beer farting
"Engineer" with a smokin' chinese clone computer? I feel safer if those guys at OCC would stop putting bikes on the road starting with California.

I say who cares if the TV Cast ended up on Gilligans Island.

Bet that one will take a boatload of bucks to take it home!

I can hear it now,
"I have a V4"
"Oh really? You got one of those Honda Interceptors?  Cool!"

or
"Damn, the rear cylinder is leaking."
"Really, which one?"

Not sure if the pay/benefits compensate enough to have to work with Paul Sr. and Jr. :nixweiss:
