Saddle Bag Liner

I ordered saddle bag liners for my new 2013 CVO Road Glide.  After receiving them, the dealer stated they they do not fit in these new saddle bags. Anyone have the same problem or have a fix?

Moved your topic as it's about the bags which are common to all the touring bikes.  You're more likely to get you info this way.

I had the same problem. Was told to cut around the amp and make them fit. I returned them to HD

The ones that came with my '12 sg don't fit very well...they are too stiff, especially the piping....so, I am glad a neglected to give the old soft ones from my '08 ultra that are more 'shapable' .

I am using the liners that came with my 07 Ultra. I put the tool pouches in the extended area. Works pretty good, you just don't pack tight on top of the right side saddle bag. I leave the top unzipped when putting in the liner on the right side so I can move things so it is easier to fit in the bag and close the lid. Helps a bunch.

Inferno is talking about the fitted liners, that come stock on the CVO Ultra.  There are two reasons they do not fit the CVO Street Glide, CVO Road Glide and CVO Road King......1) the amplifier in the left bag, and wiring harnesses in both bags are in the way of the liner fitting in the bag......and 2) You can't use the extended portion of the bag once the liners are installed.

Sumax makes a kit that gives your stuff protection and a much better fit and more useable room

Just got off the phone with Sumax.

Alot of help over the phone.  I will let you know if these work.

He also offered a discount for CVO Owners and I told him he will get reviews here.

That's interesting news Jr.  I emailed them twice and they flat out stated to me that their liners were made for their saddlebags ONLY.  Let me know how they work out.
