A while back someone posted a paint scratch repair option which can be found here:
http://www.langka.com/I bought this and have used it multiple times. While it is not perfect, it works pretty damn good once you've played with it a bit. It's hard to imagine anyone more anal than me when it comes to flaws and scratches... but then again here on this CVO site, I'm sure we're all the same...
I've found that in some cases the deeper the scratch, the better this product works. Just gotta be patient and let the paint dry before removing the "blob"
On the many repairs I've made, NO ONE has ever noticed... It's only my eyes that can find it, and after some time passes, even I have forgotten where the repairs were...
And FWIW... I ride the hell outta my bagger. I get nicks/dings on the fairing and I have found minor scratches or what not on the Saddle Bag lids and TP especially near where the key lock is. A well ridden bike is gonna get road nicks... just my opinion. Having the Langka kit handy with some HD matching touch-up paint has really put my mind at ease many times over. I really like this product.
Good luck!
Matt
