I would love to see what the part looks like after you modified it with out any thing covering it.  I want to do that for mine.

I used six 6-32 a screws to attach it to the backing plate.

Clears my knee completely but I'm only 5'8" The only issue might be reaching for the rear brake but I think I can get used to it. I hope this has helped you guys, anymore questions please feel free to ask.
