How did you mount the cover after cutting the centre piece out?

I don't understand what you are asking Aussie. I mounted the wire cover with small 6-32 screws, I didn't alter the new air breather at all except to drill & tap the back plate to attach the chrome throttle body & wire cover.

Had a better look at the pictures and see you have drilled and tapped holes after cutting out the centre piece of the throttle body cover.

I really like the cover WVHoop put on.  I wanted to use that one, but was told it would only fit with the Heavy Breather intake, so I never pursued it.  The best looking option, by far, IMO.  I may try it some time when I've run out of things I want (not anytime soon, in other words!).

What I did do was get an older intake cover from Jim at Metal Dragon.  It's no longer in the HD catalogue, but maybe you could find an older one with the PN listed.  Anyway, it fit perfectly with no modifications, and it covers up those gawd awful wires and connectors.

Also, I don't have any pictures of mine from above, but the Agitator appears to stick out into the rider's leg area more than the Roland Sands Designs intake that I installed.  I can feel it if I squeeze the tank with my legs, but haven't noticed it during normal riding or braking. 

Of course, me being bowlegged helps.

Part#61300109 is what I used to cut what I wanted to use.
