Latest update
Last weekend I rode several hundred miles. On Saturday Otis and I took I77 up to Beckley. In usual HBRR style I don't think we ever had em under 80, including a couple runs pegged at 120. Those of you that have ridden around here know that 77 has some pretty good curves in it. In all of these the old gal was steady as a rock regardless of speed. This was somewhat unexpected given the fact that the front tire is cupped and the rear tire is worn as well. Needless to say I am happy with the monotubes. I rode about 120 or so on Sunday. This time I decided to run a lot of two lane twisty roads, some of which could definitely use resurfacing. I selected the particular route because I had ridden it this past summer before the addition of the montubes, but after the shocks. WOW what a difference. I found myself riding the curves much faster than before. The ol gal is fun to ride again, so much so that I am parking the boat again this weekend.
It looks like I will be adding e3 tires before spring. Has anyone put a wider e3 on the back of a seeg, or should I stay with the 140?
