Have had them do work three times in the last several years.  One time without issue of any kind, one time with some significant backpedaling by them over the descriptions of the work they were doing and one time (last time) with greater problems of work simply not done as billed.  So while the quality of the customer support and/or work done varied there was one constant; they took awhile.  My experience and that of two others I know are that "rush" or even "moderately quick" are words that simply aren't in their vocabulary.

Thanks, not what I wanted to hear but what I have found to be true. When you are the only company you either make customer service number 1 or leave people hanging knowing if you want their product you take their crap.

Do it yourself.....not that hard....just not perfectly symmetrical......but if you don't tell anyone they will never see any blemishes

That's one of the issues with this company.  They don't like competition.  Not that they're willing to meet it and compete.  They try to eliminate it rather than compete with it. 

Somehow they patented the use of machine tools.  They patented "diamond cutting."  So what a guy could do with a Dremel with some practice and time is hounded by the company's lawyers if anyone dares advertise they could do it too.  When I found out about this, compounded with the crappy customer service, is when I decided I was never spending another dime there.

I found a woman a few years ago that did this in her garage. After she finished a set for me she called and told me that DH had contacted her and would issue  cease and desist order if she continued to operate......that is why I tried it.

  Sounds like they are taking the LL part of LLC "Limited Liability" as a business plan!  I live near these folks and will stop by to let them know of the great press they are creating for their Family business, maybe they will figure it out?

Looks like patents in the USA and Japan.....no mention of Canada.
