I was just looking at those outputs (spade connectors) last night wondering what they were.

What is a two speaker ESS kit?

Wait, so there IS a 4-channel amp AND they take the output of two of those channels and use the 2-channel ESS to further amplify the output?

So if you add another 2-channel ESS you will get 4 speakers with the same power?

WFP somewhere in the early pages Radio Sound told us that ESS stands for Enhanced Sound System.

Here is a link to the thread where we beat this issue to death.

Not as long as you keep selling those speakers [smiley=laugh.gif]  I read on another web site that you were back ordered on them.  You must be selling a fortune of them.

Pez I got the second set (all wrapped in bubble wrap) and the package again was all beat up however, these seem to be doing fine.  They are so much clearer and louder than the stock that I'd say it's remarkable.  The best bang for the buck that I've put on that bike!

Got 'em on my '03 Ultra and my '05 SEEG.  Absolutely great.  No distortion whatsoever.  Put the MP3 on and they sound great over the freedom pipes.  My Ultra has V&H that are louder and still the sound is great.  I'd advise anyone and everyone to swap these out.

Replacing the speakers do not solve a problem with sound quality.  If the head unit, (stereo) is clipping, no matter what speakers you put in, the distortion will remain.  If the factory speakers do not have the power handling capability of the amp output, then adding better speakers will help.  Usually the speakers are matched to the head unit.  I have not seen a speaker rating on the SEEG so I can't say for sure.  The simple fix is to find a small lightweight amp that adds power to your stereo without having to crank it up all the way to hear it.  This keeps you out of the distortion range of the stereo, and gives you cleaner sound.

Hey Pez,

I been waiting awhile to be able to give you a thumbs up or down with these hogtune speakers. While waiting on my bananna I plumbed the hog tunes into my headset I use to do yard work. I gave them a thumbs up! Now that I have my Lil Bananna I had a chance to check them out and wanted to say " Thank ya.....Thank Ya very much!!!!
