Kuryakyn also makes the same angled extensions that are shown and work really well with their ISO Wing footrests.   Don't know if HD's or Kuryakyn's are cheaper.

I've had the long angled HD on two bikes now.  A '06 SEUC and a '11 SERGU.  I have a 29" inseam (on a good day) and they work perfect for me.  Like Judy, I prefer having my hiway pegs adjusted so that I can keep my heel on the floorboard and toes on the pegs when riding.  It stretches me out just enough, and the peg is on the same plane as the brake pedal, so I can just rotate my foot left to cover the brake when needed.  I rarely put my entire foot on the peg, other than to completely straighten my leg out for a minute or two.  Riding like that puts too much pressure on my tailbone and it will start hurting pretty quickly.

Those passenger floorboards for the CVO's are pricey little bastards, huh?   :huepfenlol2:

Thought you would get a kick out of that Judy.... ;D

When you get ready to jump into the Ruby/Typhoon King and don't get a good price, I'll see if David at K'ville HD can do the same price for you (he's very easy to work with and a good guy to boot).  Plus, you wouldn't have to pay 9.99% TN sales tax so would be that much better price wise to you.  Good luck on the reverse and make sure to post a thread on it when installed to let us know how it works for ya...

Boatman, not sure which is less expensive but I'll look into it.

The long arms (like pictured) from Kuryakyn is part# 4526 and lists for $109.99..  On Ebay, Eastern Performance has them for $92.99 and free shipping and $89.95 on their webiste but don't know about free shipping from their website.   Hope this helps.

Tanks Boatman for the Kury part number.  As for the HD part 50829-07A, website lists them for $119.95 and, depending on the dealership, one can get them for 10-20% off of that.  HD is offering free shipping from the dealer on all on line orders over $100 through December 15th if you don't want to go there there to pick it up....

I am 5'7" with a 29-30 inch inseam so I am a short guy.
I am using the Kuryakyn tourtech mounts, HD makes a set just like em.

The key is to have the mount/pegs lowered so you can put your heel on the FB and mid sole/toe on the peg. You can still use the peg with your foot on it by the way. It allows you to have more different placement for your foot.
I have had these for many years. The photo is on my 07 Ultra but now are on my 2012 SG.
Works for me.

Yeah that I know since I was running like that on my 09 but my new CVO has painted lowers so I wasn't sure if I could still do that

I have the same HD part 50829-07A long angle highway pegs. Just need to fit them.
I have a set of the short pegs too, but too short for me. Must get those short pegs  onto eBay.

By the way as the three folks discussing the tour pack on Jswerve's Ruby are on this post (Judy, Jswerve and myself) I thought I would update.  Got an out-the-door price on a color matched King to go with the Ruby that is set up as it would be on an CVO Ultra (without the speakers, however) at $2,380.  Not bad but still quite a bit for a painted plastic box...  Sure you don't want to sell yours Jswerve?  Judy and I could go in and have joint custody....

I've got one that I'll sell at a pretty reasonable price!!

Just got it all finished.  Hauled the bike to a horse show in Ohio, back strap broke, bike ass end slid over, tour pak bounced against the wall.  Made me drink whiskey.

New tour pak ordered.  Insurance came through like it should, which is amazing.  Spoiler, bracket and light are I believe ok.  If anyone wants to tackle repairing the damaged tour pak, let me know.

OMG Cowboy!  How much whiskey  :beerchug: did you need to consume to get past your tears  :cry2::'(.  You are probably lucky that you had the TP on cause that kept it from banging your saddlebags.  I think I will pass on this TP (I don't have enough duck tape) but Howard (Ultrarider1) might jump all over this for $50.   :zroflmao: :zroflmao: :zroflmao:

OUCH  That hurt me and it wasn't even mine.  Looking at those pictures make me feel the same way I do when you see a great car get destroyed on a movie....ewwww, not a pretty sight.  Hope you drank the good 16 year old stuff in memory.
Tell you what, I don't think I want to tackle the repairs as it looks totaled (again, sorry for your loss but glad you had insurance) but I might be interested in the LED light wrap and the spoiler?  Can't really tell in the pictures if the primary/left side had much damage on either of those parts but the LED light bar is one of the parts I'm pricing to include in my King if I go that route.  If not me, I'm sure Judy might want them for her King when she bites that bullet... ;)
