Installing the WO 578 Chubby Bars was alot of work! 2 days but was worth the pain. As they say no pain no gain! $240 versuses $1737 @ the dealer! CVO Brian was alot of help on the installation. Thanks, Brian! I didn't have to change any lines or wires. If your lines go thru the lower part of the inner fairing you should have plenty of slack in the lines to install the bars. I would try it 1st before spending money on something you probably are not going to need.
Tech tip! Take out the radio. It only takes 10 minutes after removing the fairing. This gives you all the room to do the install. When installing you need a 2nd person to gently pull back the fairing in the radio area to put bars in place & torque to specs.
Make sure your diagram of the color coded wires are right! Left heated handgrip wires are a litttle on the short side so be careful not to tear off a connector as there is not alot left to strip & add the new connector.
Put the new bars to the test yesterday! 125 miles & all smiles! The bike handles completely different, no neck or shoulder pain. I'll see after a 500 mile day.
