But the anni models are not worth any more than the others, and will not hold their value any better, or be worth more down the road.

MSRP on Anni is 1K higher then non Anni models.  It looks like you're really paying only $1K above the trade value if you adjust the price to reflect the higher MSRP.  I have the 2013 Anniversary but I don't think I'd trade if I was in your shoes.  I'm probably one of the few who doesn't care what my bike looks like or what color it is.  They're exactly the same bike except for the paint and badges.  I will yield by saying that if you're unhappy with the color of your bike it's cheaper then a custom paint job.  Good luck with whatever you decide.

I, personally, had the colors for the 2013 ranked...First for me was the Annie color.  Second was the Orange and the Gold was third.  I got my first choice.  If the Annie is not a move up on your ranking of what you liked on the 13's, then I would just keep what you have.  If you really LOVE that color and feel like you should have got it in the first place, then by all means they gave you a great parachute without taking much of a hit.  All of them are pretty dope.  Good luck with your decision.

If you consider past anniversary CVO's, not one of them has held its value unless the bike has no miles on it. So unless you really love the anniversary color wouldn't you rather spend the two grand on a color matched tour pack for your present bike?

I think this is a clearer picture of your color.

The colour shown on the H-D website (pictured in reply #36 above) is totally different from what the actual is.  Apparently when you see the bike in person there is no green at all and the website depicts a very nice shade of green with the gold.  

PS - If you're trading for the Anny don't forget to switch out those nice passenger floorboards!

There is green but has to be in the right light. Most of the time it looks dark brown or black!

my dealer just received #244 of 900 anni.SERG they offerd me a trade  2k plus my 2013 SERG . what would you do? they sold me the (old) one for msrp so its not that bad a deal? stuck on the fence,need some input/advice.

Was curious what you ended up doing. Had to try and figure out the difference between what you got and whats on an Anniversary bike. From off the Harley site it says:

Our CVO™ Road Glide® Custom Anniversary Edition model goes to the extremes of quality with unique top-of-the-line custom treatments, including: an ultra-premium Diamond Dust and Obsidian paint scheme with Palladium graphics; Midnight Pearl Anniversary badging and medallions; a custom power train finish; and custom seating with exclusive inserts.

I noticed they want $2K and your 13 SERG. Since Anniversary package is only $1K more I guess they are taking $1K off your bike since it's used or are they trying to make a $1K on the Anniversary bike? If it was me I'd try to get them down $1K if I had to have the color and badges in the Anniversary bike. Curious what you did?

I'll say it again.. the  FLTRXSE2 anniversary bikes are NOT brown.

I think some folks don't exactly understand which of the three available colors is the Anniversary version.  It isn't the brown looking bike  (I know, it's not officially brown, it just looks brown under most lighting conditions) or the orange one.  It is the one you have pictured in your post.
